The Project: Ababo, donating is a game! - Fidas
Company: Fidas Adsp
Game type: Board game
Project Objective: The objective of the ABABO project is to raise awareness and inform the public, both adults and children, about the importance of blood and plasma donations through an educational game. The game promotes the culture of donation in an interactive and fun way, using a collaborative mechanic that simulates the real donation process, thus promoting awareness and learning in a playful way.
The project behind this board game, called ABABO, focuses on education and awareness about blood and plasma donations, aimed at players of different ages. The game was created in collaboration with FIDAS ADSP Zona 4, with the aim of informing about the methods and importance of donations. It uses a mechanic that simulates the donation process and the transportation of blood bags, including a car and various collection points on the board.
Players must trigger events, correctly match Donor and Recipient cards according to blood type compatibility, and work together as a team to complete challenges. The game is a playful tool that combines fun with learning, making it suitable for even the youngest children.
ABABO is the first board game of its kind at a national level and represents an innovative way to spread the culture of donation. It was developed by Terra Ludica, with the support of the Centro Territoriale Volontariato (CTV) and the collaboration of various partners, such as the Banca del Sangue delle Molinette in Turin.
The project also stands out for its attention to the environment, being made with FSC certified materials, demonstrating the commitment to sustainability.
